Hello, I’m Michelle, and the name Black Swann is personal.
My surname is Swann, and growing up in a difficult environment I often felt like the black sheep of the family. I learned early on how to adapt, accommodate, and survive, and It took me years to realise that being different wasn’t my flaw, it was my strength.
After my second abusive marriage ended, I chose to rebuild with purpose. I completed a degree in Social Science while representing myself in court (during Covid), and later went on to earn a Master’s in Psychology. Not for status, but to build my understanding of people, patterns, trauma, and why some of us feel outside of things from such a young age.
I’ve lived in two other European countries, raised five children, predominantly as a single mother, and rebuilt my life more than once. Along the way, I learned some important lessons; we can’t change people, we can only support those who are ready to look at themselves and make changes if that is their desire.
I don’t believe most people are broken, I believe many of us were simply never fully seen, and Reflections of a Black Swann grew from that understanding. This isn’t a clinical or mystical space, It’s just honest, reflective, and grounded.
If you’ve always felt a little different, a little deeper, or slightly outside of everything… you’re not out of place here, I promise.

Three books almost ready to be published;
"We have always had the Power"
Abstract-
"Why doesn't she just leave?" may very quickly turn into "Oh shit, how do we get out of this?"
This writing intends to report the synchronicities experienced through domestic abuse on a micro scale, to the coercive power and control exercised by global governments on the macro scale, specifically focusing on mind control techniques and by proxy the Covid-19 pandemic, and where this is potentially taking us in the future.
Written from an enquiring perspective with over 40 years of personal experience of sustained abuse. The overcoming of which has given insightful observations which have propelled this exploration of how it is possible for the mind to be controlled, without the mind owner's knowledge, thus unwittingly allowing themselves to be an open vessel for deep psychological manipulation and trauma, and how if at all, this can be avoided or rectified for both the individual and populations.
Having always had a questioning mind, the impacts of the last 4 years plus in society have been pivotal in my quest for truth and justice, and the solidifications that awareness and healing need to be achieved for the cycles to end.

"Dare to Dream" Is a rough guide for parents who are thinking about home educating -
Prologue
This UK based book will serve as a guide to empower parents and carers in simple dialogue through the transition from authority-based education into taking back control of our own children’s needs and dreams for their future; and some of the reasons why this should be a consideration in a world that has been turned upside-down. It demonstrates that globally this decision could be a sustainable, and indeed a vital component in what is beginning to look like a spiritual war against tyrannical up-heave of life as we know it.
This was originally written as part of my final year of a social science degree when I was home educating 3 of my 5 children, and but I have added quite a bit and updated some of the information since it was originally written in 2022 as so much has happened in our crazy world since then. The tutor who set the project, commended the concepts, and agreed that mainstream education has been corrupted by governments and corporations, herself being an ex-head mistress and witnessing it first-hand. She also introduced me to the late great Ken Robinson, who made the ballsy statement “our approach to teaching is wrong – and hundreds of years out of date,” adding; “If you design a system to do something specific, don’t be surprised if it does it. If you run an education system based on standardisation and conformity, which suppresses individuality, imagination, and creativity, don’t be surprised if that’s what it does.” From his book; Creative schools: - Revolutionising education from the ground up.
These statements sum up how schools mould our children to be cogs in a machine, Nick Gibbs backs this up on the GOV.UK website stating that “education is the engine of our economy.” Yet, we are not machines, we are humans, and our sovereignty decrees that we should be able to shape our lives according to our own dreams and aspirations rather than that of corporations and corrupt governments. (The irony of this being published on a corporate platform is not lost on me!)
Being a working single parent with no family close by and home educating is not an easy task, it is a balancing act that can sometimes take its toll, but then I am reminded of why I have chosen this path and now it is just our way of life. It is making us more cohesive as a family unit and we are strong together. It is tough, but of course possible, foundations need to be laid first, hence why I am multi-tasking to build an empire, of which by reading this you are a part of creating, so please accept my deepest and warmest gratitude for investing in my little book.
I have decided to leave the references from the original draft, the full list can be found at the end of the book.
There are also links at the end of the book to various websites, blogs, and social media accounts that also advocate, encourage, and guide home education and subsequent shifts in our world to make it a better place. I am not affiliated with any of them, but I have found them interesting and educational.
So, grab a cuppa and settle down to what I hope you will find to be an inspiring and empowering read for your family. Enjoy!
