Hello, I’m Michelle, and the name Black Swann is personal.

My surname is Swann, and growing up in a difficult environment I often felt like the black sheep of the family. I learned early how to adapt, accommodate, and survive. It took me many years to realise that being different was never my flaw; it was the very thing that would shape my path.

Like many people, I spent years trying to understand why certain patterns repeat across generations, why some individuals seem destined to carry burdens that were never truly theirs, and why some people feel like outsiders from such a young age.

After my second abusive marriage ended, I made a decision to rebuild my life with purpose. During the Covid pandemic, while representing myself through court proceedings, I completed a degree in Social Science. I later went on to earn a Master's degree in Psychology. Not for status or titles, but because I wanted a deeper understanding of people, trauma, behaviour, and the invisible influences that shape our lives.

The work that became Reflections of a Black Swann began with my own questions.

As I explored my family history, lineage, and life experiences, I started to see patterns that stretched far beyond individual events. Looking through psychological, social, and anthropological lenses, I began connecting the dots between inherited experiences, environmental influences, survival adaptations, and identity itself.

What started as a personal search for understanding evolved into something much bigger.

Over the years, I found that helping others explore their own reflections often revealed insights they had never considered before. Not simply where they came from biologically, but how family systems, culture, environment, and inherited beliefs had influenced the person they had become. Through that understanding, many discovered the freedom to step beyond old patterns and consciously create a different future.

Alongside my academic journey, life itself has been one of my greatest teachers. I have lived in multiple European countries, raised five children, predominantly as a single mother, and rebuilt my life more than once. Those experiences taught me something that sits at the heart of everything I do:

We cannot change other people. We can only support those who are willing to look honestly at themselves and choose a different path.

I don't believe most people are broken.

I believe many people have spent their lives carrying identities, expectations, and survival strategies that were never truly their own.

Reflections of a Black Swann was born from that understanding.

It is a philosophy of human transformation grounded in reflection, awareness, and conscious choice. It is not about fixing people. It is about helping people understand what shaped them, recognise what no longer serves them, and discover who they are beyond the patterns they inherited.

Because the answers we seek often begin with the questions we have never thought to ask

Three books almost ready to be published;

"Architecture of Abuse "

Abstract-

"Why doesn't she just leave?" may very quickly turn into "Oh shit, how do we get out of this?"

This writing intends to report the synchronicities experienced through domestic abuse on a micro scale, to the coercive power and control exercised by global governments on the macro scale, specifically focusing on mind control techniques and by proxy the Covid-19 pandemic, and where this is potentially taking us in the future.

Written from an enquiring perspective with over 40 years of personal experience of sustained abuse. The overcoming of which has given insightful observations which have propelled this exploration of how it is possible for the mind to be controlled, without the mind owner's knowledge, thus unwittingly allowing themselves to be an open vessel for deep psychological manipulation and trauma, and how if at all, this can be avoided or rectified for both the individual and populations.

Having always had a questioning mind, the impacts of the last 4 years plus in society have been pivotal in my quest for truth and justice, and the solidifications that awareness and healing need to be achieved for the cycles to end.

"Dare to Dream"

Is a rough guide for parents who are thinking about home educating -

Prologue

This UK based book will serve as a guide to empower parents and carers in simple dialogue through the transition from authority-based education into taking back control of our own children’s needs and dreams for their future; and some of the reasons why this should be a consideration in a world that has been turned upside-down. It demonstrates that globally this decision could be a sustainable, and indeed a vital component in what is beginning to look like a spiritual war against tyrannical up-heave of life as we know it.

These statements sum up how schools mould our children to be cogs in a machine, Nick Gibbs backs this up on the GOV.UK website stating that “education is the engine of our economy.” Yet, we are not machines, we are humans, and our sovereignty decrees that we should be able to shape our lives according to our own dreams and aspirations rather than that of corporations and corrupt governments. (The irony of this being published on a corporate platform is not lost on me!)

Being a working single parent with no family close by and home educating is not an easy task, it is a balancing act that can sometimes take its toll, but then I am reminded of why I have chosen this path and now it is just our way of life. It is making us more cohesive as a family unit and we are strong together. It is tough, but of course possible, foundations need to be laid first, hence why I am multi-tasking to build an empire, of which by reading this you are a part of creating, so please accept my deepest and warmest gratitude for investing in my little book.

So, grab a cuppa and settle down to what I hope you will find to be an inspiring and empowering read for your family. Enjoy!
